The people of Israel believed that God’s presence was limited to their country, their temple and their soil.

We left South Africa just over a year ago. God is where His people are. In fact, God is even at the most desolate places on earth. No one can get away from His presence. He is God with us. He is Emmanuel. He is imminently present even when I feel I can not sing the Lord’s song in a strange land.
