We visited the city of Roses 21-23 September 2014. Says one brother, “no, it’s the Fathers city”. Indeed it is, the earth and all the fulness there of belongs to the Lord.
The House of Bread, a coffee shop, but much more that that, is indicative of what the Lord is doing in this city. Great initiatives is taken to intentionally bring about transformation to this city.
At the annual Unashamedly Ethical Award Function for the Free State we heard exceptional stories of people touching and changing their places of influence. Metro cops not taking bribes, government officials standing against corruption, township ladies cleaning the trash, a school boy buying Bibles for all his fellow learners, athletes helping a blind athlete compete, a lady in Qua Qua impacting her community, a lecturer from the university bringing the pastors and churches together to worship etc, etc… these are just some of the amazing stories we heard of people standing up for ethics, values and clean living.
